Man Accused of Molesting Stepdaughter For Nearly Three Years

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 40-year-old man is behind bars accused of molesting his stepdaughter for almost three years.

The man, who’s name has been withheld to protect the child’s identity, faced charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and indecent assault when he stood before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.

Prosecutors say the man began molesting the girl in January 2021 when she was 11.

The molestation allegedly continued until August 2023 when she was 14.

The accused was not required to enter pleas to the charges.

Bail was denied and he returns to court on January 20, 2026 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
