NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 28-year-old is behind bars after being charged with the murders of two brothers. 

Prosecutors allege that Omar Thompson Jr is responsible for the April 22 murders of Tyrone Oliver Jr and Shakur Oliver.

The brothers were found shot to death in a car in the parking lot of Solomon’s Super Center around 2am on the date in question.

Thompson, who was the subject of a wanted bullet, was not required to pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.

Bail was denied and Thompson returns to court on August 22 to revive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
