Man Arraigned For Two 2023 Homicides
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police have charged a man with murder in relation to two separate homicides.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police have charged a man with murder in relation to two separate homicides.
Leonard O’Brien is facing charges in relation to the murders of Dario McPhee and Bryan Smith.
On April 10, McPhee was shot by a gunman, whom prosecutors say is O’Brien, while on a boat at the back of the Sand Trap on West Bay Street.
Smith was shot dead at Hospital Lane on May 26. He was sitting in a wall when he was ambushed by two gunmen.
O’Brien didn’t have to enter pleas to the murder charges when he stood before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
His matter has been adjourned to October 5 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
