NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 44-year-old man is behind bars after being charged with murder.

Prosecutors say Alvin Morley Sr. is responsible for the January 10 murder of Destin Curtis.

According to police, Curtis was sitting in a car in Montell Heights when he was shot by a gunman alleged to be Morley.

Police allegedly found Morley with a G2C 9mm pistol and nine rounds of ammunition.

Morley didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder, firearm possession and ammunition charges when he stood before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

Bail was denied and he’s next in court on May 29 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
