Man Charged With Sex Crimes Against Minor

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 50-year-old man is behind bars after being accused of sex crimes against a minor. 

Joseph Rolle faced charges of indecent assault, procuration and child pornography when he appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain.

Prosecutors say on October 15 Rolle indecently assaulted a 14-year-old girl and solicited sex from her.

He’s also accused of having a nude video of the minor, which he allegedly published.

Rolle didn’t have to plead to the charges and he was denied bail. He returns to court in January to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
