NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is facing charges in connection to two separate murders and two attempted murders that occurred within days of each other.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Lucsonder Jean is responsible for the May 28 murder of Aljaron Stubbs, who was shot multiple times in Elizabeth Estates after returning home from court.

On June 7, prosecutors say Jean fired multiple shots at three men who were at a garage on Constitution Drive.

Edward Major was killed while Kenneth Woodside and Devon Woodside were injured. Prosecutors allege that 28-year-old Malik Hanna abetted the murder of Major and the attempted murders of the Woodsides.

Jean and Hanna did not have to enter pleas to the charges at an appearance before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

They were both denied bail and return to court on October 1 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers to fastrack the case to the supreme court.
