NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who was caught red-handed with a loaded gun has dropped his appeal against his five-year sentence.

Livingston Knowles, of Montell Heights, was convicted following a trial before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.

On April 7, 2022, police were in the area Ragged Island Street when they heard gunshots. The officers pursued Knowles before he crashed into another car on Wulff Road.

That’s when Knowles fled his disabled car and ran into a senior citizen’s home on Andros Avenue.

Acting on information, the officers caught Knowles hiding in the woman’s closet. He was in possession of a Glock 9mm pistol and seven unfired rounds of ammunition.
