NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who failed to alert authorities that a child was being abused has pleaded guilty.

Forty-three-year-old Aubert Cunningham was arrested and charged after his live-in girlfriend’s son Kamari Aspinall died on March 5, 2024.

Cunningham has been fined $2,000 in order to avoid spending eight months behind bars.

Meanwhile, the child’s mother, Faydeen Aspinall, is facing manslaughter charges in her son’s death.

The boy was found dead in the tub. An autopsy revealed that he had healing broken bones and other injuries.
