NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A rapist has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns handed down the sentence after Timothee was convicted of raping a woman after breaking into her home off East Street.

The incident happened around 6am on August 2, 2020.

According to the evidence, the woman was asleep in her bed when she was awoken by Timothee in her bed.

The woman alleged that Timothee raped her before leaving.

Timothee denied that the incident took place. However, DNA evidence linked him to the crime.
