NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A convict who tried to cut off his ankle bracelet last week has been jailed for six months.

Twenty-seven-year-old Quincy Edgecombe attempted to remove his tracking device on September 18, the date he was to appear before

 Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson for sentencing.

Edgecombe pleaded guilty to breach of bail and damage when he appeared before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr. and was sentenced to six months in prison.

Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson will sentence Edgecombe on Friday for having sex with a minor.

On august 14, 2022, Edgecombe had sex with a 13-year-old schoolgirl whom he met online.
