NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 32-year-old man who was jailed for eight years after he got his girlfriend’s daughter pregnant is seeking a reduced sentence on appeal.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 32-year-old man who was jailed for eight years after he got his girlfriend’s daughter pregnant is seeking a reduced sentence on appeal.
The man, identified as DM, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a dependent in 2024.
DM began an intimate relationship with the teen on June 1, 2023 that continued up to December 31, 2023.
The matter was reported to police in May 2024 after the teen’s mother learned that she was pregnant.
