Marine Charged With Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Girl
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A marine is facing criminal charges after a teen alleges that she was raped by two men last month.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A marine is facing criminal charges after a teen alleges that she was raped by two men last month.
Marine Seaman Devon Cooper is the second person charged in relation to the April 13 sexual assault of the 15-year-old girl.
Cooper’s co-accused D’John Bowe was charged last week.
Cooper didn’t have to plead to a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse when he stood before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.
His bail was set at $8,000 and he’ll have to wear an ankle bracelet.
Both men are back in court on August 6 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
