Masqueraders Gearing Up For 10 Years Of Bahamas Carnival

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Known for their extravagant costumes, and colorful themes, this year the band’s theme tells the story of ancient Egypt with people of the Nile. 

The costumes will be revealed to the public during the band’s launch party this Friday at the Andre Rodgers stadium at 8pm. 

“We are having a lot of demand now persons want to buy tables so that’s something we have to add to so it’s great to see the excitement that we’re getting an early launch cuz were one month out and were a month earlier than last year,” says Ashad Bowe – Events Manager, Bahamas Masqueraders 

The launch is one of several signature events for the band leading up to Bahamas Carnival. 

“We have a lot of surprises all of the vents we had last season we’ll continue to do we had a lot of good feedback from those events so we want to keep those events and add to them bit by bit,” says Bowe
