Mexico: 103 Minors Abandoned In Truck
MEXICO – Mexican officials have found more than 340 people in an abandoned truck trailer in the state of Veracruz, including 103 unaccompanied minors.
MEXICO – Mexican officials have found more than 340 people in an abandoned truck trailer in the state of Veracruz, including 103 unaccompanied minors.
The migrants were from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Ecuador. It is one of the biggest recent discoveries of migrant children traveling through Mexico.
Officials said all appeared unharmed, while the driver’s whereabouts remain unknown.
The migrants will be cared for by Mexican social services until their status is decided.
