UNITED STATES – The University of Kentucky’s drive for 9 might be looking gloom, but Mikhail McLean is showing why he is one of the up and coming coaches in division 1 basketball.

After starting conference play off 0-2, losing to 14th ranked Alabama, and Missouri, Head Coach Mark Pope made adjustments, and changed his approach on how the team will handle assignments.

Pope praised McLean on his game plan and ultimately help the Wildcats end their 2 game losing streak, defeating Mississippi state 92-68.

Thompson 4th In All-Time 3-Pointers Made

Klay Thompson makes history as he moves up the list in all-time 3-pointer made

In a 144 – 122 win over the Utah Jazz, Klay Thompson played one of his best games of the season scoring 26 points while hitting 6 three pointers.

One of those threes happen to put him in 4th place on the all-time made 3-pointer list, passing Damion Lillard with 2,805 made threes.

Meanwhile the Lakers struggled against the Charlotte Hornets losing 135 – 117.

Deandre Ayton had 12 points on 6-10 shooting from the field.

UB Remains Unbeaten For The Season

The University of The Bahamas (UB) Men’s Soccer team was back in action in The Bahamas Men’s Soccer League with a clash against Baha Jr. FC.

It was a slow start for UB and in the 25th minute, Baha Jr. FC was able to strike first, giving them a 1-nil lead.

After halftime, the Mingoes woke up in the 83rd minute, where Philip Pilgrim was able to score the equalizer to tie the game at 1 piece .

The Mingoes had their best chance to win the game late in the 2nd half, where Pilgrim won a penalty-kick for his side.

Kevin Thomas was unable to convert the penalty hitting the post, and Baha Jr FC cleared the ball out of danger.

The match ended 1-1, and UB remained unbeaten on the season.
