NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The tolls of the historic Christ Church Cathedral bell marked the final journey of late Commissioner Paul Farquharson, as his body was prepped to be carted off to Rawson Square.

Stopping in the square, Farquharson’s body would be placed on a mock burial site.

It was here where family members, fellow officers, and political figures paid their final respects to one of the force’s royal sons.

And as tradition would have it a final gun salute.

Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander then presented a token to the wife of the late commissioner as she bid farewell to her husband.

We spoke to a visitor who was in awe of what he saw.
