NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis tightlipped as a former member of his cabinet is set to face charges in the Magistrate’s Court today.

Police have advised that Lanisha Rolle along with four others will be arraigned today on 17 matters related to fraud.

The former Seabreeze MP resigned from her cabinet-appointed post as Minister of Youth, Sports & Culture in February 2021, but gave little detail as to why she chose to step down.

In November, amid rumors she was being investigated by police, Rolle defended her record, saying as far as she was aware, proper procedure was followed during her tenure as minister.
