More Visitors For Cat Island, Says Tourism Minister

CAT ISLAND, BAHAMAS – A tourism office is now open on Cat Island. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper called it the first step in attracting more visitors to the island.

CAT ISLAND, BAHAMAS – A tourism office is now open on Cat Island. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper called it the first step in attracting more visitors to the island.

Cooper says there are also plans to launch a targeted marketing plan and upgrade Cat Island’s Airport in hopes of surpassing that island’s visitor arrivals; which stood at 1,749 visitors last year.
