NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More women are presenting with gambling habits or addictions in The Bahamas according to one of the leading physicians at Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre’s Gambling Addiction Awareness Program.

Dr. Sean Knowles says men present more often with substance abuse issues that may include addiction issues but women are having a different experience.

Dr. Knowles says there are some theories on why women may be more susceptible to gambling issues in the country.
