Multiple Deaths following Boating Tragedy

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two survivors have been taken to Princess Margaret Hospital and 15 people have died after a two engine vessel capsized seven miles off New Providence, early Sunday morning.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Sixteen people are confirmed dead after police say a vessel capsized seven miles off New Providence, early Sunday morning.

Police have confirmed that there are survivors in this incident. Our News understands three people are at Princess Margaret Hospital receiving medical attention. Two survivors are listed in stable condition and one is in serious condition.

Survivors and casualties were brought to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force site on East Bay Street.
