NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of murder almost five years ago is back behind bars on a car theft charge.

Twenty-two-year-old Ombre Moss was on bail after he was charged with the December 29, 2019 shooting death of Jermaine Williams at Second Street.

Prosecutors say while on bail for murder, Moss stole a purple Nissan Cube, valued at $6,300 on July 12.

Moss pleaded not guilty to the theft charge at his arraignment before Magistrate Kendra Kelly.

He was denied bail and his matter was adjourned to July 25.
