NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 22-year-old man who was on $30,000 bail while awaiting trial for a murder is back in prison—this time for gun and drug possession.

Police arrested Darius Hall and three others on August 7th when they raided a home on Eighth Street in Coconut Grove.

While searching the home, the officers found drugs throughout the residence with a total weight of eight pounds and a street value of $8,000.

The officers found a .40-caliber pistol containing 13 rounds of ammunition inside a bag in the bedroom closet.

Hall, who was granted bail in April for the December 22, 2021 murder of David Gray in Montell Heights, pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition and drug possession with intent to supply at his arraignment before Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux, Tuesday.

He was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for the gun, and one year for the ammunition. Those sentences will be served at the same time.

Hall risks spending an additional year in prison if he doesn’t pay an $8,000 fine on the drug charge.

Meanwhile, prosecutors intend to proceed with their case against the other three people who were in the home.

Kevin Colebrooke, Damatto Deveaux, And Tanahja Dean.

They were each granted $7,500 bail. Their trial is set for October 28.
