NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The fourth edition of NACAC championships underway in Grand Bahama, Friday. Bahamian star athlete Shaunae Miller-Uibo and BAAA President Drumeko Archer speaking with Our Sports ahead of Friday’s action.

NACAC track and field action getting underway at the Grand Bahama Sports Complex Friday morning, with fans turning out to see Bahamian star athlete Shaune Miller-Uibo hit the track.

Several prominent Bahamian athletes are set to participate in this weekend’s meet including Tynia Gaither,Anthonique Strachan and Devynne Charlton, among others.

Miller-Uibo winning the prelims of the 400m race in a time of 50.84, followed by Sada Williams from barbados with 51.48 and Cuba’s Calderon Gomez with a time of 51.57.

Meanwhile, Bahamas Amateur, Athletics Association President Drumeco Archer commenting on day one of competition.
