NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Its vision is to achieve a diversified, resilient, sustainable and inclusive trade performance.

The National Trade Policy also seeks to empower Bahamian businesses to thrive in local and international markets and lower the trade deficit.

Deputy Chairman of The Bahamas Trade Commission is Senator Barry Griffin. 

Griffin adding The Bahamas currently has an economic partnership agreement with the United Kingdom.

He says the trade commission is also working with agencies like the Chamber of Commerce as well as the Small Business Development Centre to address issues like export readiness.
