NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After multiple MARCO alerts with missing young people, National Security Minister Wayne Munroe is tonight explaining that the alerts aren’t late.

And it comes amid concerns the alerts are coming out days and in some instances weeks after the child was reported missing.

But, Munroe says there’s a procedure.

Next, Munroe says parents and guardians are asked if they believe their child is in danger. If yes, then he says an alert is issued.
Munroe also says young girls who are missing for a few days is concerning adding that it must be fully investigated and takes resources.
