NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Our newest ambassador to the International Maritime Organization is a familiar face. At the diplomats reception on Tuesday evening, former Police Commissioner Paul Rolle shared his high hopes for his new position.

Former top cop Paul Rolle, listed some strong goals as he gave remarks on his new position of ambassador to the International Maritime Organization.

Rolle has been working with the Bahamas Maritime Authority since 2008, but shared he never expected to one day serve at this level.

Now, he says he hopes to strengthen our maritime industry in hopes of diversifying the economy.

But Rolle is realistic in recognizing that getting back to the top will not be as easy as it may sound.
