NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas seeing a near 14% increase in its population.

The preliminary results from the national census are in and the data reveals the overall population jumped to 399,000 from 314,000.

That’s a 13.6% increase when compared to 2010.

Abaco recorded a 3.7% decline when compared to 2010.
