NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A research unit responsible for the collection of data on violence against women and children is on the horizon for the Ministry of Social Services.

Minister Obie Wilchcombe sounded the whistle on the lack of data this week. Wilchcombe confirmed that there is now a legal unit in place that will assist police with their investigations into those cases.
