NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Left in a state of limbo, residents in the All Saints Way Shantytown are anxious. Any day now demolition tractors may roll in to tear down the unregulated community that they call home.

Residents in the all saints way shantytown still living on the property weeks after 28-day eviction notices were posted in early October.

Revisiting the unregulated community, we spoke to spokesperson Kiki who tells us despite trying to leave, many residents have not been successful.

Despite the demolition day deadline passing weeks ago, the community remains untouched.

However, residents are still living on edge. They say government has been frequent with their warnings.

With the Kool Acres Shantytown demolished and this community up next to be torn down any day now. The cry from residents here remains the same.
