Nurses Month Celebrated in Grand Bahama
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Nurses were celebrated during a special luncheon dedicated to retired nurses of the Grand Bahama Health Services.
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Nurses were celebrated during a special luncheon dedicated to retired nurses of the Grand Bahama Health Services.
Winifred Humes-Dawkins shared that she was a nurse for some 40 years and her career has been rewarding.
Veronica Poitier was a nurse for 43 years. After graduating, her career began in Grand Bahama where she rose up through the ranks and became the principal nursing officer at the Grand Bahama Health Services. She also had this bit of advice for those coming into the field.
