NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Students from around the country taking time out to gather at a local historic site to observe and celebrate World Heritage Day.

Singing, spoken word, and good old Rake ‘n’ Scrape painted the scene at the Clifton Heritage National Park this past week as the country celebrated World Heritage Day. The event sought to remind residents, in particular, the younger generation of the importance of remembering their heritage. Director of Educulture Bahamas Ltd. Arlene Nash says we have much to celebrate.

Chairman of the Clifton Heritage Authority Board Christopher Sanders says climate change and heritage go hand in hand.
