Officer Accused of Raping Teen Girl In Mayaguana Home
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A police officer accused of raping a 16-year-old girl is behind bars.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A police officer accused of raping a 16-year-old girl is behind bars.
Constable Nigel Brown Jr is accused of raping the teenager on June 16 at Mayaguana when she went to his home.
The 33-year-old was not required to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
Bail was denied and Brown is due back in court on November 27 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
