NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors have opened their case against a policeman accused of misusing his badge to solicit sex.

Constable Shaquille Williamson has denied a charge of procuration.

Prosecutors allege that Williamson was on patrol alone on July 5, 2023 when he came across a man and a woman on Yamacraw Beach.

He allegedly told the 32-year-old woman that he needed to have sex with him to avoid being arrested to make outstanding arrest warrants for unpaid traffic tickets go away.
