OPM Press Secretary Defends Dorian Celebrations

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – OPM Press Secretary Clint Watson has defended the government yet again on the decision to have a week of celebrations for the third anniversary of the passage of Hurricane Dorian in The Bahamas, specifically Abaco and Grand Bahama.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – OPM Press Secretary Clint Watson has defended the government yet again on the decision to have a week of celebrations for the third anniversary of the passage of Hurricane Dorian in The Bahamas, specifically Abaco and Grand Bahama.

He explained that “not everyone will be in agreement with what has been planned.

Events are scheduled to begin tomorrow with a Weather Symposium in Abaco. The prime minister is expected to attend.

Other events scheduled are a Memorial Concert featuring Grammy Award Winning Artist Cece Winans and several memorial services in Grand Bahama and Abaco.
