NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two men on bail for murder are back in custody on a new murder charge.

Ramero Rolle, 23, of Quarry Mission Road, and Marvin Augustine, 22, of Dean Street, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain, Friday, charged with the August 6th murder of 21-year-old Ayundo Louis, who was also on bail for murder.

Prosecutors say the occupants of a black car shot Louis multiple times as he sat outside a home on Maxwell Lane.

Rolle and Augustine were not required to enter pleas to the murder charge and were remanded to prison until November 29th.

At the time of the murder, they were both on bail for the June 14th, 2021 murder of Stervante Moss at Polhemus Street.

Louis was accused of the February 3rd, 2018 murder of Okell Solomon. His trial was scheduled to begin before Justice Renae McKay on August 22nd.
