NASSAU, BAHAMAS – For just the third time in history, a Bahamian will compete in the World Public Speaking Championships finals. The Bahamas is hosting the international competition this year with eight participants taking to the stage hoping to claim the crown, Bahamian Anastarcia Palacious, being one of them.

From being one of 35,000 world members, to being one of 24 regional representatives, to one of 8 standing in the world, The Bahamas will be represented by Anastarica Palacious this weekend at the World Championships of Public Speaking.

The 2023 International Toastmasters International Convention held at the Baha Mar Resort brings together toastmasters globally for seminars and competitions.

Ahead of tomorrow, Palacious says she’s willing to give it all she’s got.

The competition kicks off at the Bah Mar Resort on Saturday August 19th.
