Party Supporters: The Heat is Turning Up!

NASSAU , BAHAMAS – A wave of red flooded the Baha Mar Convention Center on Saturday night, as supporters poured in for the Free National Movement’s campaign launch.

The party’s symbolic torch front and center, and the energy impossible to ignore.

From the moment the doors opened, the energy mimicked that of a rally, flags waving, music blaring and supporters dressed in bold custom pieces lighting up the room.

The excitement building by the second, and for many, there was only one way to describe what was happening inside.

“Listen to me, the temperature is rising, the heat is getting hotter and hotter baby, come on down to Baha Mar right now”

That energy carried straight through the crowd, longtime supporters proudly standing on their loyalty, some saying their connection to the party goes back generations.

“I hail from Long Island, Clarence Town, and I’m doing this for my mother. I know that she is smiling down on me tonight”

“I’m here with my daughter, my granddaughter, and we decided that we were going to put on the FNM cloth tonight to show our support for our party”

That pride was impossible to miss, but beyond the music and movement, there was also a clear message coming from some in the crowd, a desire for something different.

“Well, I’m supporting Dr. Fox because Dr. Fox and everyone deserves a chance, and we in Fox Hill are tired of the same old what we have with the PLP, so we rocking with Dr. Fox this time in Fox Hill again”

With the mix of excitement and expectation, supporters left no doubt that they believe this launch is just the beginning, and the heat is only getting hotter.
