NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are just days away from the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season which means by now residents should be readying to weather any possible disturbances.

If you’ve got pets The Bahamas Humane Society is reminding you not to forget your animals in your plans for the season.

While none of us want to be in a situation where we have to evacuate, President Kim Aranha is urging you to be prepared.

While it may seem like a hassle to take your pets with you in the case of an emergency, Aranah says the alternative is simply not an option.
