NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teenager who stole a dollar from his neighbor’s truck has been placed on six months’ probation and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teenager who stole a dollar from his neighbor’s truck has been placed on six months’ probation and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.
The Juvenile Panel handed down the sentence to the 13-year-old after reviewing a probation report.
He admitted the theft offense on July 22 and was freed on $500 pending sentencing.
Police arrested the teen on July 1 after he went into a woman neighbour’s unlocked truck in search of money and stole the dollar bill, the court heard.
