EXUMA, BAHAMAS – A Flamingo Air flight with 11 people on board had a dramatic landing in Black Point, Exuma on Monday.

The Our News team attempted to contact air accident officials as well as officials from Flamingo Air but they were unreachable up to air time.

Sources tell Our News the accident appears to be the result of the left landing gear collapsing when the almost 55-year-old Beechcraft 99 plane came in for a landing around 4pm Monday afternoon.

Whatever the cause of the failure was, it had enough of an impact to seemingly send the plane off the runway and into the bushes.

We’ve heard of no reported injuries.
