NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The oldest lighthouse in The Bahamas could be restored and transformed into a cultural site, according to Entrepreneur Toby Smith who revealed the big plan he has for the historical site that’s at the far west of the island.

The property is home to the oldest lighthouse in The Bahamas and according to Smith, his plan is to restore it to its 1800’s style.

Smith says the lighthouse also serves as a beacon of light and salvation not just for seafarers but those on land.

The area also has a structure that was once the lighthouse keeper’s quarters.

The last keeper lived in space in 1968.

But, the area to remember according to Smith will be the restroom with a view.
