NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Child sex offender Zendal Stubbs has been jailed for six years as part of a plea deal.

Stubbs pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and child pornography before his trial began before Justice Franklyn Williams KC.

Had the case gone to trial, prosecutors would have led evidence to show that Stubbs met the 15-year-old in July 2021 and they exchanged Facebook contacts.

They spoke several times before Stubbs threatened to leak a video of the teen having sex with another male if she didn’t have sex with him.

The girl met with Stubbs and they had sex. She couldn’t give consent because she was under 16.

After their sexual encounter, Stubbs sent the girl a video of him having sex with her.

He told her he would release it if she didn’t have sex with him again.

The girl told her mother what had happened and the matter was reported to the police.

Pursuant to the plea deal, the 11 months and seven days that Stubbs spent on remand will be deducted from the six-year sentence.

Following his release from prison, Stubbs will be placed on probation for three years. He’ll serve five years if he’s convicted of any offense during the probationary period.
