NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A large police presence and barricades filling the parking lot of the Office of the Prime Minister this morning as Leader of the Opposition Free National Movement, Michael Pintard, along with supporters, gathered to raise a number of questions surrounding the unfolding FTX saga.

Pintard also noting that the government indicated that they fully expected to be trading carbon credits on the FTX platform.

The FNM leader says there are questions that need answers.

He also addressed implications that the previous FNM administration was aware of FTX’s interest in The Bahamas.

To that, Pintard says he had no direct contact. He also insisted  anyone that was aware, should provide the relevant information.

And as the world continues to watch, Pintard says the prime minister must operate in transparency, as silence allows for the world to create their own narrative.
