PLP Threatens Litigation Over Quarantined Voters

A lawyer representing Progressive Liberal Party Leader Philip Davis and PLP supporters has requested confirmation from Parliamentary Commissioner Lavado Duncanson that he will not prevent any registered voter from casting their ballot on the basis that they are in quarantine or are COVID positive.

A lawyer representing Progressive Liberal Party Leader Philip Davis and PLP supporters has requested confirmation from Parliamentary Commissioner Lavado Duncanson that he will not prevent any registered voter from casting their ballot on the basis that they are in quarantine or are COVID positive.

Attorney Damian Gomez, QC warned that should the appeal to Duncanson fail, the next step could be court proceedings.
