PM Davis Inspects Public Schools

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – 2022/2023 school year, the Prime Minister, Philip Davis takes a tour of five schools on the island.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Just hours before the start of the 2022/2023 school year, the Prime Minister, Philip Davis, Minister of Education Glenys Hanna-Martin, and Minister of Works, Alfred Sears taking a tour of five schools on the island. A number of these schools are still undergoing repairs; however, the prime minister, filled with optimism and confidence, says he is elated.

Prime Minister Philip Davis says the delegation chose to view schools in most need of repair.

Now some schools appeared to be in good standing, while others had several contractors on site still carrying out work and repairs. PM Davis says that despite all appearances, schools will be ready to receive students.

Minister of Works, Alfred Sears noting that there was a multimillion dollar budget that included capital works as well as the repairs.

Now other schools include Palmdale Primary School, C.H. Reeves Secondary and Government High School.
