NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prime minister seeking to clear the air about claims that members of the PLP received any gifts or contributions from FTX. He’s also calling the flack in the international press unfair.

Prime Minister Philip Davis shooting down claims that the PLP received donations from FTX.

The prime minister also insisting he has no interest in FTX.

Recent court filings in Delaware reveal FTX owes its top 50 creditors over $3 billion. The Securities Commission froze FTX’s assets and applied to the supreme court to appoint Brian Simms, KC, as a court-supervised provisional liquidator.

Two other provisional liquidators have since been named.

The prime minister shot down claims that the government has any exposure to the debacle surrounding the company’s collapse.

The Bahamas is facing heavy criticism in the international arena due to the company’s collapse.

Davis is calls it an unfair characterization.
