NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There were more questions than answers in the House of Assembly this morning during the allotted question time as the prime minister refused to answer any of the opposition’s queries directed toward him.

In total, the prime minister refused to answer all 24 questions from the opposition during the allotted time for questions in the House of Assembly this morning.

Members of the opposition were not satisfied with Davis’ explanation of “not being prepared” to answer, as the notice for some of the questions date back to October of last year, the most recent question’s notice was entered in March of this year.

The opposition’s questions spanned the topics of procurement processes, transparency improvement efforts, management of crown land, Bahamas Power and Light, as well as a series of questions surrounding whether Davis could confirm $500 million foreign transaction loan.
