NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country does not have the resources to absorb refugees. Prime Minister Philip Davis making that clear as he addressed the issue during Sunday’s Joint Task Force press conference to address the tragedy at sea.

Davis telling reporters this was the reason The Bahamas did not sign onto an Irregular Migration Declaration during the Summit of Americas.
