NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The crime fight continues as police say they’ve taken a number of firearms off the streets in the past few weeks.

Just recently, police attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on JFK highway they say the vehicle failed to stop prompting a police chase eventually the vehicle was stopped and officers say they found five firearms along with a large amount of ammunition.

Chief Superintendent Skippings calls on parents and guardians to do their part.
