NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A policeman accused of threatening a woman with arrest if she didn’t have sex with him has been freed on $9,000 bail.

Justice Gregory Hilton granted bail to Constable 4206 Shaquille Williamson during an emergency bail hearing.

Prosecutors allege that Williamson was on patrol alone on July 5 when he came across a couple parked on a beach.

A name check revealed that the 32-year-old woman had two outstanding warrants; that’s when Officer Williamson allegedly told the woman that she could avoid arrest if she had sex with him.
